CASEY Cloud: the same record, in the browser.

We are building a browser-based edition of CASEY. Managers allocate and oversee the work, examiners record it as they go, and every step is kept in the same hash-chained case record as CASEY Native. On top of that, it turns your unit’s SOPs into visual workflows and adds optional AI assistance, on your own servers or hosted by ForenSecure.

Case management at its core

Manage and Investigate, in the browser.

The same two sides of CASEY that units rely on today: oversight and allocation for managers, and a workbench for examiners to record and manage their work.

Manage

See the department’s workload and assign the work.

Managers see every case, exhibit and task across the unit, who is carrying what, and what is overdue, then allocate cases and tasks to the right examiner.

Investigate

Examiners record and manage their own work.

Each examiner has their own workspace of assigned cases and tasks. Every exhibit keeps its strategy, contemporaneous Actions, photographs, examination tools and findings, and Actions are locked into the hash chain as they are completed.

Beyond CASEY Native

New ways to run the unit.

On top of the case record, CASEY Cloud adds visual workflows, optional AI and the wider lab’s registers.

Workflows

Your SOPs, as flowcharts that run.

Standard operating procedures can be converted into visual workflows: flowchart-style steps, questions, decisions and checks that control how a process is carried out, rather than describing it in a document nobody opens.

  • Started by a user or run automatically, for example when a new case is created
  • Each step owned, with the answers and outputs it needs before the process moves on
  • Versioned and audited, so you can show which procedure a case followed
  • Every running workflow visible, with its current step, on a live status board

Optional AI

AI assistance, on your terms.

CASEY Cloud can connect to an AI model to summarise the state of the department, highlight risks and recommend actions for managers. It is optional, switched off until you choose to use it, and can run on an AI server inside your own network or use an external provider.

  • Internal or external, so case data can stay inside your network if your policies require it
  • Reviewable and audit-logged, with people making the decisions
  • Available in workflows, for example to draft the summary in a daily report

CASEY Cloud is not available yet and we are not announcing a date. Here is what is already decided.

On premises or hosted

The same software either way: on your own infrastructure, or as a service hosted by ForenSecure.

Same integrity model

The same hash-chained case log, audit and exhibit continuity as CASEY Native.

AI only if you want it

Off by default. Use an AI server inside your network or an external provider.

Choosing Native now is safe

CASEY Cloud is designed to work with your existing CASEY data, so CASEY Native customers keep their records and their investment.
