About ForenSecure
Built from inside the discipline.
ForenSecure builds software for digital forensic investigations. For over a decade we have supplied law enforcement agencies and commercial organisations. The company is led by a practitioner with more than 20 years in digital forensic units, who still uses our software on live casework.
Why we exist
Generic tools adapted for forensics create risk.
Most software used in forensic units is built for generic workflows and adapted for forensics later. We build the other way round: forensics and accreditation first.
Digital forensic units face growing caseloads, closer scrutiny of evidence handling and complex multi-disciplinary investigations, often with limited resources. Our flagship product, CASEY, understands the difference between a Manage user and an Investigate user, between an exhibit and an action, between peer review and self-assessment. Those distinctions decide whether a record stands up when it is challenged.
What guides us
Principles we build to.
Practitioner-led
Every workflow is designed by someone who has done the work, under the same pressure your examiners face.
Evidence-grade
Audit trails, continuity and report formats are designed for the scrutiny of criminal and regulatory proceedings.
Operationally tested
We use our own software on live cases. Releases are proven on real casework before they reach yours.
Accreditation-aligned
Competency, validation, QA and record keeping designed around ISO/IEC 17025 and the FSR Code, and proven within UKAS-accredited environments.
